Welcome to my first Sunday Sweets!
I decided to try this simple, three-ingredient short bread recipe to make buttery, delicious short bread bars! See below for ingredients and instructions (credit to linked article).

Ingredients:
- 1 cup softened unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Optional confectioners' sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy
- Sift flour
*Don't have a sifter? Use a fork or hand mixer
- Add in flour gradually while mixing
- Spread dough into an ungreased pan evenly then prick with fork
- Bake for 30 - 35 minutes, until golden brown
Slice into bars and top with confectioners' sugar if you so wish! Can't enjoy right away? Store in an airtight container or tupperware and top with sugar once able!
